Overview
Story is of an ex-veteran who suffers from PTSD and depression when he comes home, he lost his best friend to war and doesn’t have any family back home, so he feels alone. So, he decides to go to a secluded area to end it all as he sits ready to end it all his dead best friend appears out of nowhere and tries to talk him out of it while they talk his best friend tries to convince him about how life is important and precious and that he has to keep pushing forward. I aim for the genre of my film to be a physiological, drama.
Key scene breakdown
- First shot is probably max waking up from bed shouting and crying and just throwing stuff around the room
- Next will be him with a gun in his mouth crying
- Next will be him calming down and going back to bed
- And then we will cut to him walking around the park and memories of his dead friend will appear and he will stop and sit and will shoot himself in the head until he’s stopped by his friend, they will have a conversation.
- Gets up and walks home
